Classically decorated with antique furniture and tall sash windows The Tewksbury is located on the 1st floor overlooking Staithe Street.

It is our largest double (or twin) room and the very spacious en suite bathroom offers a drench shower over a large bath.

The Tewksbury can accommodate up to 2 young children on flip out cube mattresses for an additional charge of £20 per child which includes breakfast – we can supply sleeping bags or traditional bedding. Our bed cubes are designed for children up to 12 years old. There is also ample room for younger children with a travel cot (not provided). Children three years and under stay for free. Meals charged as taken.

Eating at Bang in Wells

The ground floor cafe is open from 8.30am to 5pm daily and we are open some evenings till 9pm.

Breakfast is included in your room rate and is served in our café or outside in the courtyard from 8.30am. You can also pop in during the day for lunch from our best selling menu and specials board or for delicious cakes, tea and coffee. A selection of wines, local ales and ciders are also available.

As a guest you will have use of the south facing courtyard when the café is closed, a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
