A tranquil, light and bright double aspect room located on the 1st floor at the back of the building overlooking the south facing courtyard.

The large en suite shower room offers modern fittings with a drench shower whilst retaining the original fireplace and wood painted panelling dating from the 1800s.

The Feathers can accommodate one young child on a flip out cube mattress for an additional charge of £20 which includes breakfast – we can supply a sleeping bag or traditional bedding. Our bed cubes are designed for children up to 12 years old. There is also ample room for younger child with a travel cot (not provided). Children three years and under stay for free. Meals charged as taken.

Up to 2 dogs are welcome in this room for a small charge.

Eating at Bang in Wells

The ground floor bistro is open from 8.30am to 5pm daily and we are open some evenings till 9pm.

Breakfast is included in your room rate and is served in our bistro or outside in the courtyard from 8.30am. You can also pop in during the day for lunch from our menu and specials board or for tea and coffee. A selection of wines, local ales and ciders are also available.

As a guest you will have use of the south facing courtyard when the bistro is closed, a perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening.
